FAMILY

Families with Kids

One of the biggest challenges of homes with kids is the busyness when everyone has commitments. This simply wasn’t the case 40 years ago, or 20 years ago…or even 10 years ago. We come alongside busy families and offer them rest through periodic gatherings for them to connect with each other and other households in the same stage of life. We also provide at-home discipleship resources for the older members of the home to raise up the younger ones in the faith.

We surround the kids and youth of these homes with love and support by showing up to their special events and cheering them on. You can find us supporting our kids and youth at athletic competitions, concerts, and more. This is just one of the ways we walk alongside parents who are stretched thin.

We are a family-focused church striving to connect homes to the family of faith. Families look different from one home to the next, so we adapt as we’re able to support every household in the way they need it most.

Kids & Youth

Needs and desires change across the developmental lifespan, and our ministries with kids and youth reflect that. Kids in Pre-K through 5th grade are invited to participate in Kids Church every Sunday Boerne ISD is in session plus most summer weeks. We provide this brief time during worship so that families can be together at the start and end of the service while still giving kids developmentally-appropriate time to pursue God together.

The transition to middle school brings a lot of changes, and one of them is the person’s need for greater autonomy from their family of origin. We shepherd 6th-12th graders through our monthly youth group, which is a time to break away from the family following worship for lunch, an activity, and Bible study.
